c3 Concert Events in the Silent Movie House in Beachwood Canyon!!!
Our c3 Sound and Vision Salon Series ended in June with the final Saturday Event
The Brain Paint Event for c3 was a Sell Out with much activity on our c3 website where half the tix were purchased.
c3 founders Kate McCallum, Phillip Horvath and Noa were thrilled with the response to this series.

Bill Scott of UCLA Neuroscience and the creator of Brain Paint took the whole theater and several members of the audience specifically on the Brain Paint journey which translated their own brain wave information live into refined, cool, meaningful, projected moving and morphing art fractal films. During the post show drinks and eats Bill continued to wire up many folks and take them on the inner/outer journey, their projections dancing as a backdrop to the festive atmosphere in the room. Folks stayed till one in the morning doing BP and asking questions.

Along the way Dr. Stephen Hoeller reminded the theater audience that new technology on its own does not a "Conscious Soul" create. It does however shine more light and point the way and guide us, giving more and more refined clues to the puzzle of our journey from psyche fragmentation to Individuated Wholeness. He pointed out that the "tool" is not the "outcome". That real Actualization comes from knowledge of the true inner process of  growth towards Wisdom and its consciously chosen Integration.

An experiment into the "creative process" was also explored as
Composer Noa Winter Lazerus premiered a new composition written for the evening called: "Caution! Wet Brain Paint"! The music was somewhere betwixt Arvo Part and Massive Attack, Peter and the Wolf and Silverlake Indie. Noa accompanied his nine minute musical piece with live performance playing guitar/acoustic piano and blues harp along with the composition while wearing the Brain Paint technology. The images created live with Brain Paint in this musical experiment were quite vivid, nuanced, and expressive as projected on a screen for the theater audience during the performance.  Noa had a great time being wired up with Brain Paint and improvising with his own score. "I was a wee bit nervous at first with my head so carefully wired up, three instruments to play live and a full house in the theater, but I fell into a relaxed state with it very early on and had a very unexpectedly joyful ride on the image creating roller coaster of Brain Paint. Of key importance for me was that the composition and performance be engaging for the audience in the theater so that I could also pick up their collective energy as part of the piece, which i felt happening more and more as I continued playing and watching the projections. It was a rare experience and a moment in my consciousness explorations I will never forget. Watching my mind create original art images as I performed live really brought home the therapuetic aspect of Brain Paint, the nature of seeing more deeply into oneself. An experiential cycle of creativity that was profound, and, in the end, virtually impossible to fully put into words. An honor to play with edge technology and my own current creative process and progress. It's exciting to imagine what this technology may open up for artists worldwide".

Folks stayed after the Concert till the wee hours, this night past 1:00 am, enjoying food and drink, connectin' the dots on Art, Science, Consciousness, Biz and the Gathering Tribe of Creatives
