Well it truly begins at the beginning. My mum tells a true story of how I would climb out of my crib early in the morning and crawl down a flight of stairs with my bottle and then over to my special corner of the house where I could be found playing DJ, spinning and listening to music every morning, by the next early-riser in the household. I got my first drum at age six and began the musician's journey.

No'a Winter Lazerus utilizes a wide range of skills in pursuit of his artistic vision and expression. Scoring is a passion for cinema, television, visual art, installation art, music recording projects and live event performances. His work has been used for the DVD releases of the films 300 and Watchmen, The Brave One, A Scanner Darkly and he's composed for films and series on PBS, Discovery Channel and with major advertising and promotional projects. He has worked on several projects with director Ondi Timmoner the only two time Sundance Award winning director. and with two time Emmy Award winning and twice Academy Award nominated Director Jonathan Stack. No'a is Grammy nominated for his work in music recording and production and has ten worldwide gold and platinum awards for work done with a "Who's Who" of music artists globally. He has worked on two Sundance Award winning films, DIG! and "FUEL". The time spent in record production with stellar artists now allows No'a to create a very spectral, cinematic sound as he creates/composes and mixes virtually at the same time and uses sound, fx's and complex mixing skills as an innate part of what he creates in flow with composition. 

 No'a is known by his peers as a musical artist who can go any direction creatively with originality, innovation and a unique sonic approach. From Indie and Alt to Neo-Classical to Ambient and Spectral Sound Sculpting, he is recognized for dancing with many genres, instruments and styles.
No'a has and is currently working on creative projects with several known and diverse artists. He also completed the sophisticated demo stage of a new theatrical musical called “Ian Forest” with performe/writerr Tony Moss. He completed his graduate degree in April 2011 and now has an M.A. in Consciousness Studies. He continues working on his own recording and new scoring projects all done in his home studio, “Voice of the Silence Sound”.

No'a is co-creator of the Art of Sound label marrying artists and artwork with composers and musicians, he has completed a new project called “Rad Files” for the Art of Sound label and explains it as - “An exploration into the distortions of beauty, the rhythms of chance and the answers just our of reach”.
Live No'a can be seen at unique events as one half of “The Housepainters” along with artist Louis Cannizzaro. Louis paints found objects while No'a creates with found sounds..No'a is now performing "Live Scoring" for chosen events with tremendous audience response and is planning new live performance concepts for the new Dome Theater in Los Angeles.

No'a is currently involved in numberous diverse creative musical projecst and new film scoring work for the 2011.
